Love & War: Commissions, Procuring Cause and Broker Relations
Jason is a lawyer with Vaughn & Smith, PLLC in Louisville who recently served as the instructor for KAR’s professional standards training. His reviews came back overwhelmingly positive with attendees saying he worked through and clarified common issues they didn’t realize were ethics violations but also violations of the law.

Terry is President of Comey & Shepherd REALTORS® in Cincinnati, Ohio. Comey & Shepherd has five company-owned offices and six licensed offices with a total of 530 agents and commanding the second highest market share in Greater Cincinnati at 19%. Comey & Shepherd’s claim to fame is the highest per person productivity in the area with an average of 18 transaction sides per agent per year.
She is a past president of both the Cincinnati Area Board and the Ohio Association of REALTORS®. Terry has served on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and as Regional Vice President. She was recently president of the Ohio Real Estate Commission and is currently serving as chair for the NAR Broker Idea Exchange.
At Comey & Shepherd, Terry directs the day-to-day operations, branch managers, and human resource departments and participates in corporate planning and execution. She also interviews and hires new agents and implements training programs.

Jeff Ratanapool is president of Century Mortgage Company where he has closed loans totaling over $800 million since 1987. He has been a GRI instructor for over 10 years for the Kentucky Real Estate Education Foundation and a continuing education instructor for some of the largest local associations in Kentucky. As a result of his dynamic personality and reputable character, he has been inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame for Fern Creek Traditional High School and received the highly coveted Louisville Sales and Marketing Council’s Pinnacle Award. Jeff was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel, and has received the Congressional Order of Merit award.
